Clare Jeffries, Registered Nutritional Therapist will explain:
o   What happens to our bodies' biochemistry when we are stressed
o   Which nutrients are depleted by stress & how to replace them
o  The effect of stress on our wellbeing, mood, digestion, immunity & brain function
o  The physical & emotional impact of an unstable energy supply (blood sugar levels)
o  How to eat well to help control our stress levels

Angela Pope, a Transpersonal Integrative Psychotherapist, will:
o   Illustrate the importance of relaxation and quieting the mind by taking the group through
  1. Simple breathing exercises
  2. A guided meditation / creative visualisation 
o  Talk briefly about mindfulness and staying in the present moment
o  If time permits, share other tips for staying calm and controlling anxiety levels
